Telehandler Operator

Location: Red Oak, TX — Data Center Project

Certification Required: Class 7 Lift Certification

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Telehandler Operator to support an active data center construction project in Red Oak, TX. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a telehandler (telescopic forklift) to move materials, equipment, and supplies across the job site in support of ongoing construction and installation work.

What You'll Do

  • Safely operate a telehandler to lift, move, and place materials and equipment throughout the data center construction site
  • Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly
  • Load and unload deliveries, staging materials for various trades on site
  • Work closely with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades to coordinate material movement and site logistics
  • Follow all site-specific safety protocols and data center access procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and any incidents
  • Keep the telehandler and surrounding work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free

What We're Looking For

  • Class 7 Lift Certification required — must be current and able to provide proof of certification
  • Proven experience operating a telehandler on commercial or industrial construction sites (data center experience a plus)
  • Strong understanding of rigging, load charts, and safe lifting practices
  • Ability to work outdoors and on an active construction site in varying weather conditions
