Join Our Dermatology Team!
The Department of Dermatology is looking for dedicated dermatologists to become part of our full-time faculty! We invite you to join a dynamic group of dermatologists and advanced practice providers at our satellite location in Wexford, PA. We encourage applications from board-certified and board-eligible physicians with a focus on general and medical dermatology.
Our Wexford practice is conveniently situated just 20 minutes from downtown, and it features a rapidly growing teledermatology program. Candidates can expect a collaborative work environment, a substantial referral network, a competitive salary, malpractice coverage, health insurance, and a continuing medical education (CME) allowance.
About Our DepartmentWe cater to a diverse and medically intricate patient population in the greater Pittsburgh area, attracting individuals from across Pennsylvania and the surrounding tri-state region. The extensive University of Pittsburgh/UPMC campus encompasses 40 hospitals and 800 outpatient clinical sites, along with a global healthcare footprint.
Our Department of Dermatology operates seven clinics, offering a wide range of services including:
- General dermatology
- Phototherapy
- Laser treatments
- Mohs micrographic surgery
- Aesthetic services
- Inpatient consultations
Additionally, our Dermatopathology unit is located on our Oakland campus, staffed by four full-time dermatopathologists and two dermatopathology fellows. Our teledermatology program delivers both synchronous and asynchronous care to patients statewide and is utilized for inpatient consultations as well as in-office e-consults with local physicians.
