14822 – Construction Project Manager, BESS/Solar (onsite) - Juno Beach, FL
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project.
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. Occasional travel may be required to project locations and to support Development with local public hearings.
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.

20451 required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Juno Beach, FL (required).
• Experience with Managing project execution, including vendor and contractor coordination (6+ years).
• Experience with Construction/renewables industry.
• Experience with Project management.
• Experience with Microsoft Project.
• Experience with Smartsheet.
Able to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Land Surveying, or a related field.
20451 preferred:
• Project Management Professional (PMP).
20451 Responsibilities:
• Assesses productivity, monitors schedule compliance, evaluates work quality, and ensures safety performance at project sites.
• Supports budget oversight, assists in contract management, and validates project execution against defined work scopes.
• Analyzes key performance metrics, financial data, and operational trends to support strategic decision-making.
• Participates in walk downs of planned work, validates acceptance of completed work to design requirements, and reviews contractor payment requests.
• Verifies constructability, ensures proper resource allocation, assesses field status, and resolves issues as needed.
• Coordinates project activities with vendors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, local community officials, and the Client.
• Interfaces with landowners, local regulators, and state agencies.

• Experience managing engineering projects from design to implementation (3+ years)
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders
• Strong project management fundamentals including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management
• Understanding of engineering design processes, technical specifications, and implementation challenges
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
20732 Preferred:
• Experience with Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects or other Power generation systems
• Knowledge of project valuation methodologies and financial metrics (NPV, IRR, LCOE)

20494 Preferred:
• Experience with Renewable energy projects, particularly electricity markets, renewables, and battery projects.
Responsibilities:
• Lead advanced pre‑construction planning and optimization for utility‑scale BESS projects, integrating engineering design, financial modeling, procurement strategy, and regulatory constraints to support executive investment decisions;
• Manage critical coordination of highly matrixed project development teams to ensure resources are focused on the right activities to meet project schedules;
• Coordinate with environmental, regulatory, cultural, land acquisition, interconnection, and other project variables to ensure comprehensive project development;
• Develop and optimize the project's technical scope and variables to improve both technical and financial feasibility;
• Support origination and development teams with PPA and GIA negotiations, as well as jurisdictional requirements;
• Coordinate engineering, estimating, and procurement needs to support the development of financial models and project designs;
• Actively seek out and leverage market data to ensure the financial model is robust.
