Job Description

Lead and mentor a team of QA analysts in performing effective and thorough product testing of technology solutions for insurance agency. Maintain comprehensive test plans, schedules, and execution reports. Ensure clear documentation and communication of all testing activities. Partner with product and project leadership to review existing processes, recommend process improvements, and translate complex business requirements into actionable testing strategies. Coordinate various testing activities and resource allocation, including defining the approach, estimating effort, reporting progress, and training the team on new tools and processes (including end to end testing, test automation, API testing, and white, gray, and black box testing). Perform hands-on technical analysis, validate data using SQL and troubleshoot system issues in both test and production environments to identify root causes.

Requirements:

Bachelorโ€™s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Software, Computer or Electronics), or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role*

*Four (4) years of the required experience must have included experience with: validating enterprise software stability by using testing methodologies such as Functional, Integration, End-to-End (E2E), and Exploratory/Ad-hoc testing; defining comprehensive Test Strategies, including Test Plans, Functional & Integration Test Cases, and the maintenance of Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM) to ensure requirements coverage; managing the full Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) including the design, execution, and maintenance of test suites and Defect Lifecycle Management using tools such as Jira, HP Quality Center (ALM), or similar; performing Quality Assurance for the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, including validation of claims lifecycles, policy administration and risk estimation logic; performing data verification, schema validation, and test data generation using SQL Queries within an RDBM Senvironment; and defining test strategies, mentoring junior QA team members, and conducting root cause analysis with development teams.

**Telecommuting is permitted from any U.S. location.
