THE JOB
This is a Associate Veterinarian position and requires someone who has experience with Examining pets or animals. As a Associate Veterinarian your roles and responsibilities will include:
  • Examining pets to diagnose various illnesses, diseases, and injuries.
  • Treating pets by prescribing appropriate medications, cleaning and dressing wounds, and performing surgeries and other medical procedures.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Associate Veterinarian who enjoys his work and is one of the best within your organization. The ideal Associate Veterinarian would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
  • Doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM) or veterinariae medicinae doctoris (VMD) degree.
  • State Veterinarian license.
  • Proven experience working as a veterinarian.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to think and act quickly.
  • Willingness to provide after-hours emergency treatment.
