Job SummaryAs a key member of the Government Professional Contracting team, this role plays a critical part in executing contracting strategies and ensuring comprehensive provider network coverage. The position is responsible for building, negotiating, and managing strategic relationships with physicians, physician groups, and other healthcare providers to support organizational goals. This role is essential to maintaining robust provider networks and advancing value-based care strategies, helping ensure high-quality, accessible care for members across government programs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Degree and 3 years provider contracting experience OR 7 years business experience including 3 years provider contracting experience.
  • Knowledge of provider and facility contracting, products, and claims/processing systems.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Relationship building skills.
  • Knowledge of marketplace.
  • Meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Verbal and written communication skills; organizational and planning skills.
  • PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within assigned areas of responsibility, including overnight stays.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years experience in Government Contracting.
  • Experience with collaborate cross-functionally to align network development with strategic and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience monitoring network performance and identify opportunities to enhance coverage, access, and value-based care initiatives.
