Job Title: Network Engineer - Consultant (Senior Cloud Network Engineer)
Location: Columbia, SC
Work Mode: Hybrid (Onsite initially)
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 12 Months (with possible extension)
Schedule: Monday-Friday8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Start Date: February 10, 2026
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer / Senior Cloud Network Engineer to support cloud infrastructure and security initiatives. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud networking environments across AWS and Azure platforms.
The position requires strong expertise in cloud security architecture, automation, and enterprise networking, along with the ability to document configurations and support incident response activities.
Work Location Requirement
โ€ข Onsite required Monday-Friday for the first 90 days
โ€ข After 90 days, the role will transition to a hybrid schedule (2-3 days onsite per week)
โ€ข Candidate must be a current South Carolina resident
โ€ข No relocation allowed
Interview Process

Required Qualifications
โ€ข 5-10+ years of experience in information security and network engineering
โ€ข 5+ years of experience designing and maintaining infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure
โ€ข Strong experience in cloud security design, operations, and automation
โ€ข Hands-on experience with:
oSecurity documentation (tools, deployments, configurations)
oIncident reports and operational procedures
โ€ข Active AWS or Azure certification (mandatory)
Preferred Qualifications
