Job description

Job Overview:
  • The SAP PCS Lead will be responsible for leading SAP Production Planning and Manufacturing Execution-related process design, configuration, and implementation activities. 
  • The role involves driving requirements gathering, solution design, system configuration, testing, and integration across SAP S/4HANA manufacturing processes, including PLM and MES integrations.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong SAP S/4HANA experience with Production Planning / Manufacturing domain.
  • Experience in Manufacturing BOM (MBoM), routings, and shop floor execution processes.
  • Experience in end-to-end production order lifecycle (creation to confirmation to goods receipt).
  • Strong experience in SAP PP processes including MTS and MTO environments.
  • Experience with work centers, BOMs, routings, MRP, scheduling, and costing views of material master.
  • Experience in external processing and subcontracting scenarios.
  • Experience in production order kitting, batch-managed goods issue, and reversals.
  • Experience in availability checking and shortage reporting.
  • Experience in SAP authorization, security, and change management processes.
  • Experience in requirements gathering and business process workshops.

Experience:

  • Experience conducting Business-Driven Configuration Assessments with business stakeholders.
  • Experience preparing system demos, workshop presentations, and solution documentation.
  • Experience in configuration, documentation, and functional specification writing.
  • Experience supporting test planning for standard and custom SAP objects.
  • Experience working on reporting and change management processes.
  • Experience in integration with PLM and MES systems.
  • Experience in revision and engineering change management (ECM).
  • Experience in A&D (Aerospace & Defense) industry preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead requirement gathering sessions with business process owners.
  • Conduct Business-Driven Configuration Assessment and translate findings into SAP solution design.
  • Prepare Workshop A materials including system demos and presentation decks.
  • Configure SAP PP processes aligned with best practices.
  • Design and document process flows, key decisions, and system configurations.
  • Define authorization and security requirements.
  • Support test planning, execution, and validation of SAP manufacturing processes.
  • Manage integration with PLM and MES systems.
  • Support production order lifecycle processes and shop floor execution flows.
  • Handle subcontracting, external processing, and advanced manufacturing scenarios.
  • Ensure proper reporting and change management documentation.

Should Have:

  • Strong understanding of SAP manufacturing best practices.
  • Experience in large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
  • Exposure to PLM and MES integrations (Parameter Effectivity is a plus; training provided).
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Experience in aerospace & defense manufacturing environments.
