Job Duties:
  • Evaluate and implement data engineering technology, tools, and frameworks leveraging the Integration platform and cloud services supporting WestRock's integrations investments.
  • Drive strategic vision for API, EAI, EDI and B2B integrations within WestRock
  • Establish best practices in Integration technologies and develop self-servicing tools.
  • Maintain the health of infrastructure that supports integrations.
  • Build and maintain Integration platforms and services using webMethods.
  • Define mapping requirements.
  • Develop and support complex interfaces between internal business systems using various adapters, file-based mechanisms, batch and real-time processing.
  • Develop EDI maps and set up new Trading Partners.
  • Create EDI transaction testing scenarios, perform testing and partner onboarding.
  • Work with trading partners to establish connectivity and test EDI documents.
  • Coordinate with ERP/O2C teams to test and integrate documents for new partners.
  • Setup middle-ware configurations for data routing.
  • Work with backend application teams to complete EDI setups.
  • Troubleshoot configuration issues, mapping errors, EDI compliance errors and data issues
  • On call production support

Position can be performed from anywhere in the U.S. Domestic travel required 10%-20% of the time to worksite locations
Requirements:
Employer will accept a bachelor's degree in computer science, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Data Science and Engineering Analyst-related occupation.
Position requires five (5) years of experience in the following:
  1. Experience with IBM (Software AG) products such as: IntegrationServer/Trading Networks; BrokerServer/Universal Messaging; Business ProcessManagement Suite (BPMS); Adapters; MWS; TNConsole; Deployer; webMethods flow/Javaservices and configuration;
  2. Experience in EDI structures and looping concepts
  3. Experience of setting up/configuring partner profiles, trading partner agreement, processingrules in MWS
  4. Experience with ANSI X12, EDIFact, cXML supply chain transactions
  5. Experience with VANs, understanding of communication protocols such as FTP, SFTP, FTPS AS2, etc.
  6. Experience with IDOC standards
  7. Experience with adapters such as JDBC, MQ, SAP, etc.
  8. Experience with webMethods Administration.
