Position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, and 2 years of experience with database administration. Experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: developing scripts for automating routine tasks; designing algorithms and data flowcharts; performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT); data model design tools and IDE tools, including Eclipse and IntelliJ; issue management system tools, including Jira and Backlog; Source Control Management tools, including GIT; and Apache NiFi, API REST, Big Data, data structures, Elasticsearch, ETL, Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Jenkins, JSON, Kafka, Kibana, Linux, NoSQL databases, performance tuning, Python, RDBMS, relational databases, Scala, Spark, Sqoop, Shell scripting, and Trino. Telecommuting is available up to 2 days per week.

Document data requirements and data stories, and maintain data models to ensure seamless integration into existing data architectures. Create and maintain information about stored data and understand database requirements and translate those requirements into physical database design. Build and enhance database design and infrastructure that supports the business portfolio. Perform database design review, support database testing, and provide production environment support for database systems and processes. Design database features for ongoing sprints and monitor database requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues.
