Job description

The Department of Computer Science at Ithaca College invites applications for a full‑time, tenure‑track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting August 2026. Applicants from all areas of computer science are welcome, with particular encouragement for those specializing in artificial intelligence, human‑computer interaction, media‑focused computation, computer systems, or cybersecurity. Complete applications received by Monday, October 13, 2025, will receive full consideration.

Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field is required.
  • Teaching experience and a strong commitment to undergraduate education are essential.
  • ABD candidates (All But Dissertation) are also encouraged to apply.

    3. A 2‑page maximum discussion of your research plan that highlights how you plan to work with undergraduate students.
Hiring Range

$80,000 - $85,000, dependent on discipline, qualifications and experience.
