How you'll contribute 

The Clinical Informatics Specialist serves as a liaison between clinical staff and MIS analysts, leveraging technology to optimize clinical workflows and improve patient outcomes. This role supports system evaluation, workflow standardization, and enhancement of electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical decision support tools. The Clinical Informatics Specialist also collaborates with physicians, nurses, and leadership to design, implement, and improve systems, provide user training, and ensure effective adoption. Responsibilities include system testing, troubleshooting, audits, and maintaining downtime procedures. The role also involves analyzing current and future workflows, supporting implementation efforts, and keeping current on healthcare informatics trends and regulatory standards.

Required Skills

Qualified candidates must have a 5 years of clinical experience.

 Strong communication, project management, and training skills are essential.

Education

Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field required.

Master's preferred
