Job description

About William Henry

At William Henry, we don’t just create objects—we sculpt legacies. We are an elevated, American luxury brand dedicated to crafting functional works of art, from hand-forged Damascus steel pocket knives and kitchen cutlery to high-end men's jewelry, watches, and lifestyle accessories. Our pieces are born from a fusion of ancient metalworking, exotic or storied materials (like fossilized mammoth bone, gemstones, and meteorites), and modern precision science. Every item we build tells a story of enduring beauty, tradition, and soul.

We are seeking a visually driven, high-caliber Graphic Designer who can translate the raw soul of our craftsmanship into breathtaking digital layouts, premium print assets, and cohesive luxury brand storytelling.

The Role: Shape Our Visual Legacy

As our Graphic Designer, you will play a pivotal role in driving online sales and elevating our global brand awareness. This isn’t just about making things look pretty; it's about mastering typography, luxury aesthetics, and performance-driven layout design to turn casual browsers into lifetime collectors.

You will blend high-end heritage styling with a digital-first mindset, producing everything from premium website banners and high-converting email layouts to sleek print collateral, packaging, and trade show graphics.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Digital & Print Asset Creation: Design gorgeous, luxury-focused marketing assets including email campaigns, paid social ads, website banners, landing pages, packaging, and print collateral.
  • Image Retouching & Art Direction: Retouch product imagery to flawless, premium commercial standards, maintaining high visual integrity. Assist with art direction and seasonal campaign concept development.
  • Brand Management & Consistency: Evolve and maintain a cohesive, elevated luxury visual identity across all customer touchpoints, creating design libraries and clean file structures.
  • Conversion-Driven Layouts: Create layouts optimized for conversion while strictly upholding our high-end brand aesthetic. Adapt content seamlessly for multiple digital specs and print production standards.
  • Collaborative Strategy: Partner closely with marketing and content teams to execute campaigns, review performance metrics (turnaround times, brand consistency, conversion impact), and refine visual outputs based on data and leadership feedback.
Schedule & Travel Logistics
  • Part-Time Plus: This commitment requires your immediate availability and focus during standard business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) for collaborative needs and meetings.
  • Hybrid Flexibility: Enjoy the freedom of telecommuting for the majority of your tasks. However, strict adherence to a hybrid schedule is required: you must be on-site at our studio at least 2 days per month (sometimes more based on collaborative design sessions and production demands).
  • Local Travel: Travel to and from the studio is a regular part of the role (not reimbursable). Occasional localized travel for brand events or production needs may be required.
What You Bring to the Canvas (Qualifications)
  • The Portfolio: A stellar, proven portfolio demonstrating sophisticated branding, high-end visual design, and premium marketing assets. An understanding of luxury branding, premium visual communication, and high-end aesthetics is essential.
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent elite, proven field experience).
  • Technical & Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.). Comfort navigating MS Office (Word, intermediate/advanced Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Production Independence: A self-starter attitude with the ability to pivot quickly, manage multiple projects, and deliver flawless, production-ready files in a fast-paced environment. Must possess or have reliable access to any specialized proprietary hardware required for high-end design production not directly provided by the studio.
  • Professional Maturity: Exceptional communication skills, a metrics-conscious eye, and an open mind that welcomes and constructively applies creative feedback from leadership.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Direct design experience with heritage, luxury, jewelry, watch, EDC (everyday carry), or fashion brands.
  • Motion graphics, animation, or After Effects capabilities.
  • Advanced email design familiarity.
Physical Demands & Environment

To thrive in this role, you should be comfortable sitting at a desk and operating a workstation for 8 hours a day (occasionally up to 10 hours during heavy launch periods). You must have strong close vision, color vision, and depth perception for meticulous layout framing, color-matching, and asset editing. Occasional lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds (such as sample products, packaging materials, or print proofs) may be required.

Are You Ready to Shape a Legacy?

If you have a deep passion for craftsmanship, rare materials, and luxury storytelling, we want to see your vision.

To Apply: Please submit your resume, and a link to your digital portfolio showcasing your best luxury layout and branding work.
