Job description

MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Technology team in Seattle, WA in a hybrid work arrangement. 


The Senior Full Stack Developer is a senior technical contributor and emerging people leader responsible for delivering endtoend application development while helping to mentor and shape a highperforming team in collaboration with the Director of Product Strategy. This role requires a strong full stack developer who is comfortable owning projects, making informed and aligned decisions, partnering with stakeholders, and mentoring less experienced team members. Working across East Coast, China and India time zones may be required.


The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, builds strong working relationships, is committed to continuous learning, and demonstrates leadership traits that position them to eventually serve as a future partner and backup to the Director.


  • Leads and contributes to the design, development, and implementation of full stack solutions, spanning the user interface, application logic, and database layers.
  • Owns projects end-to-end, including requirements clarification, solution design, coding, testing, documentation, and deployment.
  • Collaborates with program managers and business analysts to understand requirements, translate business needs, and ensure strong technical outcomes.
  • Develops high quality, maintainable, and scalable applications aligned with existing standards, tools, and architectural patterns.
  • Manages source control workflows, branching strategies, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
  • Troubleshoots complex technical issues and drive long term improvements in code quality, system reliability, and performance.
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends and best practices, applying them when aligned with organizational standards and priorities.
  • Mentors and supports junior developers through technical guidance, code reviews, and structured coaching.
  • Strengthens the team by training others, building redundancy, and fostering strong knowledge sharing practices.
  • Contributes to team culture by promoting a collaborative, positive, and growth oriented working environment.
  • May manage a team of junior developors in the future.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor and eventual backup to the Development Manager, demonstrating readiness for broader leadership responsibilities.

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 10 years of experience in related fields.
  • Both hands-on development and team mentoring.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Technical Expertise – Front End Development

  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: js, Java, PHP
  • Ability to build APIs, services, and scalable backend component.

Database Technologies

  • Strong working knowledge of MS SQL and Azure SQL.
  • Ability to design schemas, write queries, and optimize performance.

Other

  • Familiarity with Git and established version control strategies.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and standard deployment processes.

Compensation: $125,00 to $170,00 per year (depending on qualifications)
