Job Title: Tucson, AZ - UI Adjudicator (Benefits and Eligibility Specialist)

Location: Tucson, AZ

Pay Range: $18.61/hr (W2)

Job Description

We are seeking a UI Adjudicator (Benefits and Eligibility Specialist) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in customer service, case review, and eligibility determination and a proven ability to conduct accurate interviews, verify documentation, and deliver clear resolutions for applicants and recipients of public assistance programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Review applications for public assistance programs and determine eligibility through interactive interviewing and fact gathering.
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of application forms and request follow-up information as needed.
  • Explain rules and policies to claimants, representatives, employers, doctors, and state and federal agencies to support qualification determinations.
  • Address customer concerns, identify appropriate programs, and guide applicants through benefit receipt.
  • Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in accordance with agency standards.
  • Travel to off-site meetings, training, or conferences as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in Tucson, AZ with reliable transportation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High School Diploma.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience performing eligibility reviews.
  • Previous insurance adjudicator experience.

Training & Start Details:

  • In-person training for approximately 7 weeks.
  • Target start date: 07/27/2026. Expedited onboarding is required.
