Job Title: Software Systems Engineer 3

Job Duties: Toyota Material Handling, Inc. seeks a Software Systems Engineer 3 to work under minimal supervision to program, test, debug, and maintain existing and new applications. Responsible for the development, performance, integrity and security of the company's WAREHOUSE GATEWAY website and associated technology products. Make necessary changes to existing business applications. Develop new business relevant applications. Recommend new third-party libraries for approval by management. Utilize test cases and methodologies. Utilize troubleshooting techniques and methodologies. Provide accurate estimates for changes. Actively gain exposure to new technology improvements. Suggest improvements to guidelines, best practices, and SDLC. Provide feedback on specifications, requirements, and documentation before proceeding with work. Review projects and resolve key technical issues with senior-level staff. Ensure all project segments integrate effectively. Ensure programs and applications possess optimum design elements and efficient test procedures. Proficient in using source control management systems. Make recommendations to ensure applications meet current and future business design, reliability, and security needs. Assess and maintain application security. Safeguard the company's data by maintaining enterprise-level security, prioritizing ensuring the integrity of the applications most vulnerable to attack. Receive

coaching and feedback from higher-level developers and provide mentoring to lower-level developers. Perform related work as assigned. Telecommuting from anywhere in the United

States permitted 5 days per week.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study plus 4 years (or Bachelor's degree plus 6 progressive years) of software development experience and in each of the following skills: (1) Coldfusion, Javascript, AJAX, jQuery, Highcharts, SQL, MSSQL, GIT, and Azure Dev Ops for operating systems, testing, and data management; (2) Analyzing software security measures, data utilization techniques, version control systems, current technological ecosystem/environment and UI/UX Design concepts; (3) CSS3, HTML5, and Bootstrap web-based application technologies; (4) Analyzing data using SQL queries and stored procedures with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio; (5) Developing scalable applications using Coldfusion; (6) Utilizing GIT version control system to monitor code flow; (7) Using Azure DevOps to track and manage work items and project, perform pull requests and code releases, and track testing; (8) API development, implementation, and maintenance; (9) Front-end web technologies, such as Vue.js, React, or Angular; (10) Server-side scripting languages; (11) Responsive Web Design; and, (12) Developing and administering AJAX/JSON requests for seamless data exchange and interaction within web applications. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
