Job description

Advantage Personnel is looking for a Telecommunications Field Technician for a company that provides cutting-edge solutions and provides best-in-class services to their clients.  Hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am-5 pm.  Pay is $20/hr to start.

Telecommunications Field Technician Duties and Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems
  • Troubleshoot technical issues to minimize clients’ downtime
  • Conduct site surveys to determine requirements for installation
  • Provide training and support
Telecommunications Field Technician Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of networking principles and protocols
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools
  • Willingness to obtain ongoing training and development
  • Commitment to professional development and advancement opportunities
  • Preference given to relevant certification (CompTIA Network+, BICSI Installer, CIT)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reliability is a must
  • Must have driver’s license and good driving record
