Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant to join the SAP team supporting a leading Aerospace & Defense company that designs, manufactures, and sells airplanes, rotorcraft, rockets, satellites, and telecommunications equipment worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Intercompany Processes, SAP S/4HANA FI/CO, and experience working across multiple SAP modules to deliver end-to-end business solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and perform FIT/GAP assessments.
  • Design and support end-to-end SAP Intercompany solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Procurement, and Manufacturing.
  • Configure and customize SAP modules for intercompany processes, including FI/CO, MM, and SD.
  • Develop functional specifications for custom enhancements.
  • Conduct workshops to gather business requirements and align stakeholders.
  • Test, validate, and support SAP intercompany solutions.
  • Serve as the SAP Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for intercompany processes.
  • Participate in solution design and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Work with SAP S/4HANA FI General Ledger and Cross Value Stream sub-ledger-based intercompany processes.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to drive project success and key business decisions.
  • Stay updated with new SAP releases and enhancements related to intercompany processing.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • SAP FICO Certification is required.
  • 5+ years of experience with:
    • SAP Intercompany Processes
    • SAP ICMR (Intercompany Matching & Reconciliation)
  • Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA FI/CO.
  • Experience integrating SAP with:
    • MM
    • SD
    • PP
  • Strong experience in SAP configuration and customization for intercompany processes.
  • Experience facilitating business workshops and performing FIT/GAP analysis.
  • Experience supporting Aerospace & Defense organizations.  
  • Ability to develop functional specifications and support testing activities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within the Manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of SAP for Aerospace & Defense.
  • Experience with WBS Integration.
  • Knowledge of ICMR (Intercompany Matching & Reconciliation) is highly preferred.
  • Experience working across multiple SAP value streams.

  • Travel: Client will cover travel expenses when travel is requested.
  • Work Location: Remote,  local candidates near St. Louis, MO.
  • Extension: Contract extension is possible based on consultant performance.
