What does a telecommunications installer do?

A telecommunications installer sets up and maintains communication systems such as phone lines, internet, and cable networks. They install, test, and troubleshoot equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings, often using tools like cable splicing and testing devices. The role typically requires knowledge of wiring standards and safety procedures, and may involve working with fiber optics, copper cables, or wireless systems.
