Job description

Our client is a growing telecommunications company seeking experienced Cabling Technicians to join their team. The ideal candidates will bring hands-on fiber and structured cabling experience, along with strong troubleshooting and safety awareness. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of installation, splicing, and testing projects in a fast-paced field environment.
Job Responsibilities -
- Install, splice, and terminate fiber optic and copper cabling for telecommunications systems.
- Perform structured cabling installations, including aerial, underground, and outside plant (OSP) work.
- Test cabling systems and troubleshoot signal issues to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and project specifications.
- Work with industrial wiring and CommScope systems and components.
- Follow BICSI standards and safety protocols, including proper use of PPE.
- Travel to job sites as assigned and complete work efficiently within project timelines.
- Collaborate with team members and site leads to support ongoing installation projects.
Job Requirements -
- 3+ years of experience in telecommunications cabling.
- Familiarity with Comm Scope systems and industrial/commercial wiring practices.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between job sites.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Strong understanding of cabling testing procedures and job site safety standards.
- Experience with fiber splicing and termination highly preferred.
- BICSI certification preferred.
