Job description

ITG Communication is hiring for Civil Engineer Estimator (Hallandale Beach, FL)
The Civil Engineer Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for telecom-related civil construction projects, including underground conduit, trenching, site prep, and structural improvements. This role ensures that all civil engineering scopes are evaluated for technical accuracy and financial viability, supporting bid submissions and project planning across the organization.
Responsibilities
Analyze telecom construction plans, designs, and specifications to develop comprehensive civil cost estimates
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in estimating civil scopes, preferably within the telecom, utilities, or infrastructure sector.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., HeavyBid, RSMeans, or similar).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and telecom network plans.
• Excellent analytical and math skills with high attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and ability to perform field visits as needed.
