Job description

Tarsco Bolted Tank is leading the industry in engineering, manufacturing and construction of liquid and dry bolted storage tank systems.  We design and manufacture to national and international standards and have extensive experience in all environments and climates worldwide. Our expertise and available resources allow us to execute a wide range of projects in both size and complexity, tackling the unique challenges our customers face.


Tarsco Bolted Tank is seeking to add a dynamic Project Manager to our team to support our tank and insulation business!  This position is an in-office position at either our 5897 State Highway 59 in Goodman, MO or 10810 E. 45th St in Tulsa, OK facility.  The primary office hours are 9 hour shifts Monday-Thursday and 4 hours on Friday with additional hours as needed to support the business needs. 


Job Summary: 

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing the entire process of tank and insulation construction projects.  The Project Manager creates and manages job site budgets and timelines, delegating tasks to subcontractors and collaborating with other professionals working to complete the projects.  Project Managers ensure that construction projects are completed on time and under budget. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Facilitate project kick off meeting with sales, construction, and the customer to confirm project requirements

·         Create and enter project timelines and other project details into the project database

·         Work with scheduling to coordinate project timelines and other project details

·         Participate in project team meetings with representatives from construction, engineering, design, and manufacturing and provide update on the status of assigned projects

·         Coordinate and follow up with construction, sub-contractors, manufacturing, design, or other internal or external contacts as needed to ensure projects progress according to the established timeline and budget

·         Assist as needed with coordination of equipment rentals, freight, shipment of small packages, etc. to ensure the project is completed on time

·         Escalate any concerns that may delay or negatively impact the project budget or timeline to leadership

·         Work with sales and estimating as needed to prepare quotes and resolve customer issues

·         Close out projects to include updating of ERP and request for invoicing

·         Follow up with customer to confirm and resolve any issues related the project that may be delaying payment

·         Other duties assigned as needed to support the business.

Education and/or Experience:

·         High School Diploma or GED required

·         Associate or Bachelor degree in Construction Management, Business, Project Management or related field preferred

·         3+ years of project management required

·         Experience in tanks, structural steel buildings, industrial construction or related industry experience preferred

·         PMP certification a plus

Other Requirements:

·         Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record required

·         Must maintain state minimum requirements for vehicle insurance

·         Real ID and passport for travel is a plus

·         TWIC card for jobsite access is a plus

·         Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in an office environment which includes sitting up to 10 hours per day

·         Maintain efficient internet service to ensure no downtime or lag in virtual communication needs when working remotely

·         Ability to work overtime as need to support business needs

Required Travel:

·         This position is an office based position located at either 5897 State Highway 59 in Goodman, MO or 10810 E. 45th St. in Tulsa, OK.  Travel up to 15% to Tarsco Bolted Tank job sites, other business offices, etc. maybe required as needed to support business needs.
