Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Manager 3 for a contract opportunity in Pascagoula, MS.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
  • Must have an understanding of Earned Value Management (EV) and experience with Project Management budgets.
  • Bachelor's Degree with 6 years in related field; 4 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree; A combination of experience and education maybe substituted in lieu of degree.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Successful Candidate must have computer programming skills Visual Basic and/or SQL.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
Computer programming skills Visual Basic and/or SQL. Experience with Project Management budgets, manning and performance preferred. A basic understanding of Earned Value Management (EV).
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Accredited High School diploma or equivalent.
WORK HOURS
Full-Time 5/40, workweek. 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift.
