Job description
Why Join Data Airflow?
We’re a growing, founder-led company solving real problems for modern data teams – and most importantly – we listen to the people doing the work. Data Airflow is a fast-growing company that tailors data center cooling solutions in the cryptocurrency mining and AI systems. You’ll join a collaborative, low-ego team where ideas matter, autonomy is real, and your influence is impactful. We move fast, value curiosity, and believe great work happens when smart people are trusted to do the work they were hired to do.
About Your Role
The Project Manager is responsible for providing technical oversight with client engagement and business development. This role leads the planning, design, and execution of managing projects. The Project Manager will ensure adherence to specifications, project timelines, and budgetary items.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management, from initiation to completion.
- Define project scope, goals, timelines, and success metrics in partnership with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely execution of deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and forecasting.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and provide clear status updates to leadership.
- Ensure documentation, reporting, and project aspects are accurate and current.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients and when appropriate, identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need to Get the Job Done:
- 3-5 years of project management experience required – ideally with an engineering or construction management focus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), CAPM, or similar certification preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience managing ERP, financial, and operational systems.
- Experience with vendor management, contract negotiation, and budgeting.
Working Conditions
- Primarily office-based with occasional after-hours or on-call responsibilities.
- May require occasional lifting (<30 lbs.), bending, twisting, and kneeling to configure equipment.
What You’ll Love About Us: (company benefits, culture, work environment, sands out)
Total Rewards: Competitive wages benchmarked against industry standards, 401(k) with a 4.5% employer match, health/dental/vision insurance that the majority (75%) is paid by the employer for both employee and dependents.
Growth Mode: Join a company doubling in size and influence year over year, who helps pioneer next-gen infrastructure for Ai and Cryptocurrency.
Impact: Help power a sustainable future by supporting cooling technologies that reduce global energy consumption.
Culture: Collaborative, transparent, and fast-moving — where ideas matter and execution is valued. We offer a casual work environment, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
Data Airflow is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer
