Responsible for successful execution of all phases of the project life cycle for assigned projects. Coordinate and direct project teams and external customers through planning and execution of project within an established project management framework.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

Measured by how much documented value is brought to the organization through project delivery. Typical measurements include:

  • Regularly brief project status to the Senior Leadership Team, including financial, schedule, risk, quality, technical and customer satisfaction.
  • Work with the functional managers to ensure all project activities are up-to-date, conduct what-if analysis, and improve project throughput.
  • Collaborate with the other Project Managers and functional area managers to identify and eliminate scheduling and resource conflicts between competing projects.
  • Maintain a high sense of urgency and “can-do” attitude in all areas.
  • Facilitate customer relationships, internal improvement projects and technical problem solving.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Associate’s degree in business or engineering technology degree required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business or related technical field or equivalent education and experience preferred.
  • Minimum of seven years’ experience in engineering, manufacturing or technical field with 5 years’ experience in project/program management of technical projects.
  • Effective communicator at all levels of the organization and with customers, both in writing and in person.
