Job description

The Dekker Government Studio is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary project teams and support the delivery of complex, Federal-sector architecture projects. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational insight, technical knowledge, and the ability to create momentum, through planning, communication, and accountability, across design and consultant teams. This role will contribute to our mission supporting work at DOE and DOD facilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Project Management, or a related field
  • 4-8 years of experience managing design-related projects, including coordination with consultants and contractors
  • Strong working knowledge of project delivery methods, regulatory processes, and construction phases
  • Proficiency in project management and knowledge of architectural tools such as Deltek, Revit, MS Office Suite, and Bluebeam
  • Advanced communication skills with the ability to lead conversations and resolve issues collaboratively
  • PMP certification (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities
  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget throughout the life of a project
  • Lead client-focused project teams through all phases, from concept through construction closeout
  • Translate client goals into actionable project plans that guide team structure, scope, and schedule
