As our Steel Detailing Assistant Project Manager, you will be at the heart of our project operations, working closely with the project manager to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. What You’ll do:

  • Be a Strategic Visionary: Play a key role in the strategic planning phase of exciting upcoming projects, influencing their direction from the start
  • Assist in Daily Mastery: Support the project manager in the daily orchestration of projects and staff, ensuring top-notch quality, client satisfaction, and on-time delivery
  • Real-Time Project Updates: Keep the project manager in the loop with real-time status updates, becoming the pulse of the project
  • Innovative Problem-Solving: Tackle challenges head-on and propose creative solutions to enhance project outcomes
  • Master Document Organization: Keep all current project documents impeccably organized, filed, and maintained
  • Digital Database Management: Enter and manage crucial information in our digital project databases with precision
  • Coordinate from Start to Finish: Help oversee and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring a seamless process
  • Collaborate with Industry Experts: Work closely with fabricators, engineers, and architects to meet and exceed project requirements
  • Handle RFIs and Change Orders: Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and Change Orders with expertise and efficiency

  • Over 1 year of experience as a Steel Detailer, with consideration for candidates who demonstrate substantial experience in a related field Any level of familiarity with Tekla Structures or similar detailing software is a plus
