BROADBAND TELECOM SERVICES, INC.

Broadband Telecom Services is a full-service telecommunications construction contracting company with multiple locations throughout the state of Texas.

JOB CLASSIFICATION: Full-time

LOCATION: Aledo, Texas 

PAY RATE: Hourly

REPORTS TO: Construction Supervisor 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·         Previous construction telecommunications construction is preferred

·         Thorough knowledge of telecommunications construction including excavation equipment, utility lines & poles, and trenching equipment

·         Must be able to read, understand, and comprehend engineering/blueprint design plans 

·         Plans, organizes, and completes projects in the shortest, most efficient manner

·         Proficient written and oral communications skills

·         Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor and provide general assistance to other employees as directed

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS-INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING

·         Keep materials & equipment organized, cleaned, and in proper running order

·         Demonstrates a strong commitment and dedication to delivering excellent customer service through executing by BTS mission and values

·         Maintain a strong line of open communication with direct Supervisor & Management team to address and resolve issues in a timely manner to drive productivity

·         Supports a brand Company image by displaying a professional attitude and appearance at all times

·         Analytical, problem solving, and organizational abilities

·         Assume responsibility for productive of jobs, efficient use of materials, equipment, and contractual performance of the project

·         Ensure all personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, and work polices

EDUCATION & LICENSES/CERTIFICATES:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a safe driving record.

LANGUAGE/MATHEMATICAL SKILLS & REASONING ABILITY

  • Must be able to use written and verbal communications in English language.

REASONING ABILITY & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

·         Ability to work aloft.

·         Must have manual dexterity and the ability to utilize various hand tools and test equipment.

·         Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

·         Must be able to kneel, crawl, push, pull, bend, stoop, lift and dig.

·         Must meet and maintain Company’s safe weight policy.
