NEDIA FIBER

Ashburn, VA | www.nediafiber.com

Administrative Assistant & Sales Support

Full-Time | On-Site | Ashburn, VA | $45,000 – $55,000 + Bonus

Why This Role

This isn't a background support job. At Nedia Fiber, the Admin & Sales Support role sits at the center of the action — you'll own the customer experience from first inquiry through delivered order. You'll work directly with company leadership, handle real B2B accounts, and see the direct results of your work. If you like being the person who keeps everything running and you want a role where your reliability and follow-through actually matter, this is it.

About Nedia Fiber

Nedia Fiber is the fiber optic cable division of Nedia Enterprises, Inc. We manufacture and distribute fiber optic cable serving B2B customers — distributors, contractors, installers, and integrators — across the United States. We are growing fast, our team is small and close-knit, and every person here has real impact. We value people who take ownership, communicate clearly, and follow through without being reminded. If that sounds like you, you'll fit right in.

What You’ll Do

Sales & Customer Support

•      Prepare accurate quotes for fiber optic cable products based on customer specs, pricing guidance, and lead times.

•      Follow up on open quotes and inbound inquiries to help move deals from interest to order — proactively, not reactively.

•      Communicate professionally with customers on product availability, order status, shipment timing, and documentation.

•      Help customers identify the right products by gathering requirements and routing technical questions internally.

•      Support outbound efforts: follow-up emails, call scheduling, sample coordination, and light lead research.

Order Management & Operations

•      Enter and process sales orders accurately; coordinate with operations, purchasing, and shipping for on-time fulfillment.

•      Maintain CRM records (HubSpot), track pipeline activity, and keep customer notes current.

•      Prepare sales reports, opportunity summaries, and account activity updates for management.

•      Work closely with leadership to improve quote turnaround time, responsiveness, and order accuracy.

General Administrative & HR Support

•      Handle day-to-day administrative tasks that keep the office running smoothly.

•      Support basic HR functions and assist leadership with operational and organizational needs.

What You Bring

Required

•      2+ years experience in sales in fiber optic cables, telecom, data center products or power cables.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

•      Sharp attention to details; you catch errors before they become problems.

•      Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general business software.

•      Ability to learn technical product details and explain them confidently to customers.

•      Must be able to work on-site in Ashburn, Virginia.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

•      Familiarity with HubSpot CRM and AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude, Perplexity).

•      Background in quoting and order processing in a distribution or manufacturing environment.

•      Experience supporting outside sales reps or account managers.

•      Background in shipping, logistics, or supply chain communication.

•      Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or science — helpful but not required.

What Success Looks Like

You respond to customers fast. Quotes go out the same day. Orders are entered correctly the first time. Nothing falls through the cracks. Customers feel taken care of, and the sales team trusts you to handle the details. That’s what we’re looking for — and that’s the kind of person who thrives here.

Compensation & Benefits

•      Base salary: $45,000 – $55,000 depending on experience.

•      Attractive Performance-based incentive bonus — your results are rewarded.

•      Medical, dental, and vision insurance.

•      401(k), profit sharing, and defined benefit retirement plan.

•      Paid time off and paid holidays.

How to Apply

Submit your resume along with a brief note (a few sentences is fine) covering:

•      Your relevant experience in sales support, order management, or customer-facing roles.

•      Any experience with B2B products, including fiber optic cables, power cables and data center products.

We read every application. If you’re the right fit, you’ll hear from us.
