Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
o Knowledge on network troubleshooting for Large Data Centers, Large WAN/Network environment.
o Good knowledge and experience on Routing, Switching, Wireless, Firewall, load balancers, DNS, DHCP, VXLAN, VPN.
o Good knowledge on automation / scripting and ability to automate repetitive tasks.
o Expert level knowledge in at least one of the cloud technologies (Azure, GCP, AWS).
o Knowledge in working with SDWAN products.
o Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of your employer's business and industry needs, as well as the technical demands.
o Expert level Knowledge/experience on network device administration (Juniper Switch, F5 LTM/GTM, Wireless, MPLS/WAN/LAN management, Paloalto Firewall)
o Expert level knowledge in working with various routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF.
o Hand-On experience working with a large Infoblox and Aruba ClearPass deployment.
o Expert level knowledge with various protocols such as VRRP, HSRP, STP, LACP, SNMP.
o Recognize the importance of customer focus and/or of serving the needs of the end user.
o Productivity Tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio.
Roles & Responsibilities
o 24x7 Remote Network Monitoring & Management.
o Own the networking issues connecting and supporting the corporate and shared network environment.
o Drive critical issue resolution/Break-Fix for P1/P2 issues.
o Coordinate and work with the external vendors for various operational issues and projects.
o Provide hardware support & maintenance for all networking components.
o Manage existing and new networking solutions, including monitoring the network stability and uptime.
o Handle various projects related to site expansion, Hardware Refresh, Technology refresh as required.
o Handle escalated issues from L1/L2 team and provide timely resolution.
o Responding and documenting outages and circuits down through incident reporting.
o Identify corrective actions for critical incidents and drive them to closure to ensure stability through Problem management process.
o Interact with various internal users in evaluating the needs and building a right solution to meet the requirements.
o Documentation and change control.
o Mentor junior team members and provide guidance in various change tasks.
o Monitor event logs and services to be proactive in identifying potential issues.
o Att end scheduled network change calls impacting the network availability.
o Shift Handover and Shift Updates.
Generic Managerial Skills:
o Bachelors degree in technology or any other bachelors degree
o ~10 years of Enterprise / Telecom Network infrastructure relevant experience.
o Detailed, oriented with excellent communication skills (written & oral) particularly the ability to communicate with staff who aren't technically trained.
o Presentation skills, quick learner, self-initiated, team player, open to work in shifts to support and monitor the Global Network Infrastructure.
o Excellent interpersonal skills needed to work with various levels of technical staff members.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to execute against deadlines.
o Work with internal customers in managing requests/changes/incidents for your areas of work.
o Work with global teams to provide support and complete IT projects.
o Manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to manage timelines and meet tight deadlines.
o Self-motivated, constructive and positive attitude.
o Possess good understanding of infrastructure management processes; knowledge on ITIL framework.
o CCNP Certification would be an added advantage.
Salary Range: $64,000 - $120,000 a year
