Position Summary
The Computer Integrated Manufacturing is responsible for the strategic planning and design of telecom infrastructure and/or network components. An Associate Professional position applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education and must be able to explain facts, policies and practices related to the job area. Work is closely supervised. Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Contributes to the work on computer integrated manufacturing problems of limited scope and contributes on projects or processes while receiving detailed instructions from higher level professionals
• Helps analyze the short-term and/or long-term network capacity needs for current and future network requirements
• Helps design the network architecture and performs technical analysis of software, hardware, network systems, systems engineering for front-end processors, multiplexes, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches, and various transmission systems
• Assists in ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards and protocols
• Other duties as assigned
