Job description

As a Network Install Technician III, you will deploy and install internet and cable services at WhiteSky properties across the country.You will also be responsible for diagnostic and troubleshooting when necessary. To be considered, candidates must reside within a commutable distance of Los Angeles Area. When not working in that area you will travel regionally. 


  • 3+ years’ experience as a Network Technician.
  • Cable/Internet Tech-Fiber Optic Background a must.
  • Experience with installing, maintaining, and repairing cable television and Internet services in businesses.
  • Experience with fiber installations, fiber splicing, CATV, CAT 5/6, coax, and/or wiring.
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge of various electronic components (e.g., modems, routers, TVs, stereo systems and home entertainment systems) and have knowledge of computer operating systems.
  • Must have top notch customer service skills, candidates will be entering private dwellings & managed properties.
  • Must be able to operate independently, train and oversee installations.
  • Excellent organization and communication.
  • Be able to complete tasks on-time as defined by project schedule. 

  • Current valid State Driver’s License and non-negligent driving record.
  • Must have reliable transportation to work.
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be readily available.
  • Must be willing to work on some weekend/overtime.
  • Extensive out of state travel is required.
  • Must be physically capable of climbing ladders, working in closets, rooftops, and construction.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Fiber Optic or Telecom background preferable.
