Job description

Job Overview

In this role the EUS Operations Technology Leader will be focused on providing frontline support to the Hubbell Operations Environment.  Responsibility for overseeing EUS initiatives and elevating service levels for manufacturing sites and knowledge workers globally. This role requires a strong technical IT & Cybersecurity background, leadership, & project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

A Day In The Life

Lead and project manage Operations PC refreshes in manufacturing sites to maintain currency and minimize downtime.
   Lead and manage vulnerability remediation and end-point protection penetration in manufacturing devices and PCs.
   Collaborate with operations and the device management team to schedule and coordinate patching, upgrades, and security hardening activities with minimal disruption to production schedules.
   Partner with OT machine vendors and OEMs to establish patching cadences, validate firmware/software updates, and coordinate deployment of security patches to shop floor equipment.
   Coordinate dispatch technician visits to manufacturing sites for problem resolution and project execution.
   Provide front-line IT support for manufacturing technology in partnership with site Operations teams and IT application teams.
   Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to manufacturing PC interfaces including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
   Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
   Ensure timely and effective resolution of EUS IT/OT support tickets.
   Provide L3 support as needed for knowledge workers in manufacturing locations.
   Provide VIP support for VIPs in manufacturing locations.
   Partner with operations and device management teams to develop and maintain a comprehensive OT asset inventory across all facilities-including hardware, software, firmware versions, and network connectivity.
   Lead End User Services project initiatives (Device & OS EOL, tooling projects, etc.)
   Coordinate with on-site Operations personnel regarding EUS initiatives. 
   Create documentation and resources to assist users in resolving common issues independently.
   Collaborate with cross-functional business & IT teams to achieve project goals.
   Partner with network team to appropriately segment IT & OT networks/devices.
   Resolve cyber threats as required in support of vulnerability management initiatives and security

What will help you thrive in this role?

   Experience supporting complex manufacturing environments, with a focus on IT support.
   Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
   Customer-focused with a service-oriented mindset.
   Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
   Strong knowledge & use of cybersecurity tooling - Crowdstrike, Claroty, Defender, etc.
   Knowledge of MS Office Applications and Teams collaboration tool.
   Familiarity with hardware components, software applications, and troubleshooting techniques.
   Intune & MECM experience strong desired.
   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
   Certifications such as CSIM, Security+, ITIL, CompTIA Network+, Project+ or equivalent are a plus.
