In the area of plants, the company provides total solutions for front-end engineering design (FEED) as well as engineering, procurement and construction (EPC).
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Electrical Construction Engineer to join our project. The candidate will be responsible for conducting electrical, telecom, fire-alarm (hereinafter "ETF") inspections, reviewing construction drawings, and monitoring field installation quality in accordance with NEC requirements and project specifications. Coordinates permit inspections and supports resolution of field issues to ensure safe and compliant project execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of ETF construction projects to ensure safe and timely completion
  • Prepare and review quantity take-offs, subcontractor quotations, unit pricing, and related construction documents
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, engineering teams, and project stakeholders
  • Conduct quality control inspections for electrical materials, equipment, and installations
  • Support permitting activities and coordinate with regulatory authorities as required
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, ETF standards, applicable codes, and safety regulations
  • Monitor progress and assist in resolving construction issues. Maintain project records and perform other related duties as assigned
  • Utilize MS Office, Auto CAD, and project management software

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, Telecom, Fire Alarm Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in ETF engineering, or similar roles
  • Knowledge of subcontractor procurement and contract administration
  • Excellent coordination and problem-solving, and teamwork skills
  • Experience with construction related documentation, submittals, drawings, reports, etc
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office experience (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Auto CAD

Preferred
  • Strong bilingual (Korean / English) communication and documentation skills
  • Experience with AHJ inspections, and NEC code compliance is preferred
  • EIT, FE, OR PE (Electrical) certification is preferred
  • Experience with electrical quantity take-offs, cost estimation, subcontractor administration, and permitting support

  • Weekend work may be required depending on the project schedule
