Job description

Job Title: Civil Design Engineer - Telecom (Hybrid)
Marketing Message
Join a respected Central New Jersey consulting firm supporting critical infrastructure projects across the telecom industry. Be part of a collaborative, high-impact team where your expertise helps shape next-generation network development.
Key Responsibilities
Design telecom sites from concept through construction, including layouts, antenna mounts, and site approvals
Develop and review construction drawings, specifications, and AutoCAD designs for new and existing sites
Conduct site inspections, condition assessments, and prepare detailed engineering reports
Lead and mentor junior engineers and CAD designers while collaborating across teams
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor"s degree in Civil Engineering with 4+ years of experience, or 6+ years of telecom design experience without a degree
Proven experience in telecom site development (new builds required)
Proficiency in AutoCAD and construction drawing standards
Strong knowledge of structural components, site inspections, and technical report writing
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience with tower and rooftop telecom projects in the tri-state area
Leadership experience guiding junior engineers or design teams
Work Environment & Compensation
