We're looking for a Telecom Project Manager who can take ownership of complex projects, build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.
What You'll Do As a Telecom Project Manager, you'll oversee telecommunications and utility infrastructure projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring every phase is executed successfully. Project Leadership Manage telecom and utility infrastructure projects throughout the entire project lifecycle. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, timelines, and resource plans. Coordinate engineering, permitting, construction, and project closeout activities. Identify risks and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on track. Ensure project deliverables meet client expectations and contractual requirements. Client & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, municipalities, utility partners, contractors, and internal teams. Lead project kickoff meetings and provide ongoing project updates. Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional service. Prepare and communicate project forecasts, status reports, and performance metrics. Financial & Budget Oversight Monitor project budgets, labor costs, materials, and subcontractor expenses. Review change orders, purchase orders, invoices, and expenditures. Drive project profitability and support revenue forecasting activities. Ensure financial goals and project objectives are consistently achieved. Construction & Operations Coordination Partner with field operations teams to execute projects efficiently. Coordinate permitting, inspections, utility locates, and right-of-way requirements. Monitor contractor performance and schedule adherence. Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate project records, contracts, schedules, and documentation. Track milestones, KPIs, and project performance metrics. Prepare weekly and monthly project reports. Support project closeout activities and final customer deliverables.
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications ✔ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Telecommunications, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred ✔ 3+ years of Project Management experience in: Telecommunications Fiber Optic Construction Broadband Deployment Utility Infrastructure ✔ Strong understanding of telecom construction processes and project delivery ✔ Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously ✔ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software ✔ Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills ✔ Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
