Job description

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Cable Pullers to support structured cabling and infrastructure installations in a high-demand data center environment. This role is responsible for pulling, routing, and staging low-voltage cabling (fiber and copper) throughout large-scale data center facilities under the direction of Leads and Foremen.

Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a team-oriented environment. No prior experience is required, but familiarity with construction or low-voltage environments is a plus.

 Key Responsibilities:
  • Pull, route, and label CAT6 and fiber optic cabling according to installation plans
  • Assist with racking and staging materials and tools on-site
  • Help install cable tray, ladder rack, J-hooks, and other pathway supports
  • Maintain clean cable runs and follow all bend radius and pull force guidelines
  • Support Lead Technicians and Foremen with setup, teardown, and job site organization
  • Use basic hand tools (tape measures, fish tapes, cable cutters, etc.)
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times
  • Perform other general labor and installation tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, but not required
  • 1–2 years of experience in construction, low-voltage, or data center
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in tight or elevated spaces
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Punctual, dependable, and willing to learn
  • Must pass background check and drug screening (if required by client or site)
Preferred (but not required):
  • OSHA 10 certification
     
  • Basic knowledge of cable types and infrastructure components
     
  • Previous experience in data center or telecom environments
     
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
