Job description

Position: In-Person and Telemedicine- Bay Area, California

Region: California

Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neurocritical Care Intensivist to join our growing physician lead practice in Northern California. This is an outstanding opportunity for a fellowship trained Neurointensivist to practice in the San Francisco Bay Area at a comprehensive stroke center and Level II Trauma center, caring for patients with the full spectrum of complex neurological and neurosurgical critical illnesses.

In addition to bedside practice, physicians will have the opportunity to provide tele medicine consultations to partner hospitals across California, extending expert neuro critical care to underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities:Provide specialized neurocritical care to patients in a state-of-the-art facility, utilize telemedicine platforms to extend expert care to remote patients, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, participate in rotating shifts to maintain 24/7 coverage, and engage in continuous education and professional development.

Qualifications:Neurology and Neurocritical care fellowship is required. Must be eligible for or possess a California medical license. Strong clinical expertise in the management of critically ill neurological patients. Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Experience with telemedicine is preferred but not required. Please note that we are unable to sponsor or accept J1 visas.
