A Teladoc RN (Registered Nurse) is a telehealth nurse who provides remote patient care through the Teladoc Health platform. They assess patient symptoms, provide medical guidance, and assist with care coordination via phone or video consultations. Teladoc RNs work from home or designated locations, helping patients manage chronic conditions, triage health concerns, and provide health education. This role requires an active RN license, clinical experience, and strong communication skills to support virtual healthcare services effectively.
As a Teladoc RN, your day typically involves assessing patients’ symptoms over the phone or via video calls, documenting patient information in electronic health records, and collaborating with physicians to coordinate care plans. You may assist with patient education, provide follow-up instructions, and help patients navigate appropriate next steps based on their health concerns. The work is primarily remote, offering flexibility and an opportunity to help patients from diverse locations. You’ll also participate in regular team meetings and stay current with best practices in telehealth. This role is ideal for nurses who are comfortable with technology and enjoy a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
