Role: IELTS Examiner
Reports to: IELTS Administrator
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Compensation: $48 per hour
Description:
ELS Minneapolis, Minnesota - ELS Language Center is seeking a Certified IELTS Examiner to conduct one-to-one interviews with IELTS candidates to assess their spoken English according to set requirements.
Job Duties:
The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Examine test takers on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Maintain confidentiality and security in all aspects of IELTS
- Comply fully with the Examiner Code of Practice and IELTS Confidentiality Undertaking
- Undertake scheduled standardization training and re-certification
- Other duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:
- Familiarity with the IELTS examinations is an asset
- Excellent customer services skill
- Ability to exercise judgment in varying situations involving stressed candidates
- Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Must be team-oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills and time management needed.
Education Required:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent ((minimum three years of full-time academic study, or one year full-time for a Master's), or a full DELTA
- A recognized TEFL/TESOL qualification, relevant EFL/ESOL studies, or a degree in Education with a focus on English)
