Job description

What you'll do
The digital and motion graphics designer will work closely with our design team to create visually compelling marketing materials that align with our clients' brand identities and marketing strategies.
Outputs:
  • Design UX/UI-optimized webpages and emails that adhere to component-based strategy and web accessibility standards, ensuring a seamless experience across devices and platforms
  • Produce attention-grabbing multimedia assets (i.e. graphics, animations, video) for social media posts, webpages and emails
  • Design display banner ads (i.e. HTML5, GIF, JPG, rich media) to fit placement specifications
  • Design visually engaging presentations with slide transitions, animations and interactive elements
  • Create and edit motion graphics
  • Edit and manipulate raw video footage
  • Perform other design, layout, animation and illustration duties as required
Process:
  • Collaborate with internal team to understand needs, conceptualize ideas and provide constructive feedback
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas and solutions
  • Ensure final products align with the needs of the client and is delivered on time, on budget
  • Maintain an organized library of files for in-progress jobs, completed assignments and related assets
  • Maintain Adobe Creative Suite software skills needed to fulfill design responsibilities

What you'll bring to the role
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual arts, web design or similar
  • 5+ years of professional design experience, preferably in a marketing agency environment
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Figma, Lucidchart/Lucidspark, Pitch and all Microsoft Office softwares (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Functional understanding of branding, typography, color theory, user-centered design principles and information architecture
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and responsive design principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take constructive feedback
