Entry Level Life Insurance Insurance Agent

Location: Knoxville, TN — In Office

Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor

Compensation: Commission Only

Maverick Insured is looking for motivated individuals to join our Knoxville office as Insurance Sales Representatives. No previous insurance experience or active license is required.

Responsibilities

- Contact prospective clients

- Identify clients’ insurance needs

- Explain available coverage options

- Assist clients with insurance applications

- Maintain professional follow-up and client service

- Follow all licensing, carrier, and compliance requirements

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills

- Professional and dependable

- Motivated and coachable

- Comfortable working with clients by phone

- Able to work from our Knoxville office

- Able to complete licensing and background requirements

Important Position Details

This is a 1099 independent-contractor opportunity, not a salaried or hourly position. Compensation is earned through commissions on eligible policies that are issued and placed in force.

Pre-licensing education and initial training are unpaid. Maverick Insured covers approved initial training and licensing expenses for selected candidates.

Income is not guaranteed and varies based on individual performance, policy placement, cancellations, chargebacks, and other factors. Leads are provided but do not guarantee sales or earnings.

Typical Office Hours

Monday–Thursday: 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Friday: 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
