Job description

Dentistry for Children and Adolescents is a patient-oriented dental practice looking for a friendly, reliable, and outgoing dental assistant to join our team. You must enjoy working with kids, teenagers, and those with special needs. This is a full-time position that operates Monday through Thursday with half-day Fridays every alternate week. We provide a variety of benefits, including continuing education, health insurance, 401(k), profit sharing, a uniform and shoe allowance, ten paid holidays after a 90-day probationary period, and ten paid vacation days after one year of employment.

We are looking for someone with outstanding communication skills, a patient and friendly personality, attention to detail, and the stamina to meet the physical demands of the job. Responsibilities include assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, setting up and breaking down operatories post-treatment, taking dental radiographs (x-rays), providing parents and patients with instructions for oral care following dental treatment, educating patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health, and performing various office tasks as needed.

A dental assistant certificate is preferred but not required where state regulations specify. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

The position is located at our Savannah office at 5901 Abercorn St., Savannah, GA 31405. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes 401(k) and 401(k) matching, dental insurance, an employee discount, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with no nights or weekends required.

If you are interested in joining our dedicated team, we would love to hear from you.
