Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester to support quality assurance and security testing for enterprise government web applications. You will develop test cases, execute unit and integration testing, support code scanning processes, and validate that applications meet functional requirements and DoD security standards before production release.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute test cases and test plans for enterprise web applications and APIs
• Perform unit, integration, and regression testing throughout the software development lifecycle
• Support static and dynamic code scanning using Fortify, Sonatype, and BurpSuite
• Document test results, defects, and remediation status in an issue tracking system
• Verify Section 508 accessibility compliance and design standards in application interfaces
• Validate vulnerability remediation and support security scan closure activities
• Develop test automation recommendations to improve testing efficiency
• Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects efficiently
Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Security Clearance: minimum T3 clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of software testing or QA experience
  • Experience developing and executing test cases for web applications
  • Familiarity with unit, integration, and regression testing methodologies
  • Knowledge of Agile/DevSecOps workflows
  • Understanding of Section 508 accessibility testing

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Fortify, Sonatype, or BurpSuite security testing tools
• Test automation experience (Selenium, JUnit, or similar)
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification
