Requirements: ย Must have NYS Certification as a Technology Education Teacher
We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications:ย 








  • New York State Technology Education Certification (grades preK-12).
  • The ideal candidate will be able to instruct and monitor students in the proper use of various tools within the technology lab such as; drill press, band saw, power sander, miter saw, hand saw, adhesives, etc. as needed for projects within the Webster Technology curriculum.
  • Excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative.
  • Candidates must have knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning.


Responsibilities:

  • Provides comprehensive instruction in the District approved technology curriculum.
  • Integrates literacy skills and strategies within the technology program, ensuring that all students are able to access appropriate text and communicate understanding through writing.
  • Maintains accurate and timely student records available for teacher, student or parent reference.
  • Demonstrates a deep and rich knowledge of subject area and the ability to convey it to the students
