Our Technology Risk Consulting services team is growing and we are looking for a Senior Consultant - SAP Security and GRC Implementationย to join our team in Toronto. The Technology Risk Consulting practice provides a variety of services to our clients.ย The successful candidate will focus primarily on providing IT Advisory and Assurance based services to clients running SAP in the Financial Services, Technology and Telecom, and in the Public Sector space and also demonstrate flexibility on IT project and ERP advisory services, information protection and business resilience services.ย 


What you will do
  • Support the end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4 HANA project implementations, primarily using a greenfield approach. This includes capturing role design requirements for SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server (SLT), SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), SAP C4C.
  • Lead and deliver end-to-end SAP Security design and build activities for ECC, S/4HANA, and related SAP applications (Fiori, BTP, Ariba, SuccessFactors, etc.).
  • Design and configure role-based access controls (RBAC), authorization concepts, and user provisioning workflows aligned with the clientโ€™s organizational structure and segregation of duties (SoD) principles.
  • Support security cutover, go-live readiness, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Design and implement SAP GRC Access Control (ARM, ARA, BRM, EAM) and Process Control solutions.
  • Conduct SoD analysis, mitigating control definition, and role risk assessments.
  • Configure workflows, rule sets, and provisioning integrations between GRC and SAP landscapes.
  • Assist clients in establishing effective governance frameworks and continuous compliance processes.
  • Advise clients on SOX, GDPR, and ITGC compliance requirements related to SAP.
  • Perform security and control assessments, identify gaps, and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Partner with audit and IT teams to align SAP controls with enterprise governance frameworks.
  • Lead workstreams on large-scale SAP programs, managing deliverables, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including BASIS, ABAP, Functional, and Infrastructure teams.
  • Communicate complex technical issues clearly to business stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Assist with preparing proposals and client presentations as part of business development activities.

What you bring to the role
  • A University degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant hands-on experience in SAP systems and processes, with a specific focus on:
    • Deep understanding of authorization concepts across S/4 HANA , Fiori and AP Cloud solutions
    • Designing and implementing SAP Security roles and conducting thorough SoD analyses during projects.
    • Experience with SAP Security tools, accelerators, and controls implementation.
    • Technical and functional expertise in using SAP GRC Access Control and SAP GRC Process Control.
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience delivering SAP S/4 HANA implementations from end to end, including role design, requirement gathering, and issue resolution.
  • Knowledge of SAP risk management practices and the ability to conduct detailed SoD reviews, gap analysis, and mitigation strategies.
  • SAP Certifications and experience in SAP consulting practice development are advantageous.
  • Possess a growth mindset with the ability to adapt to fast-changing environments while delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills to present clear insights and recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of audit processes, risk management, and compliance needs in various industries.

The expected base salary range for this position is $69000ย  to $97000 and may be eligible for bonus awards.
