Position: Senior IT Project Manager
Duration: 6+ months
Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite in a week )

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects through the full lifecycle, from initiation and planning through implementation and closure.
  • Manage multiple concurrent IT projects, including schedules, resources, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and vendors.
  • Lead IT infrastructure and technology initiatives involving networks, systems, cloud environments, cybersecurity, and IT operations.
  • Manage cybersecurity and IT operational improvement projects.
  • Establish and improve project-management processes, templates, reporting standards, and governance practices.
  • Work closely with IT directors, technical teams, business stakeholders, leadership, and external vendors.
  • Prepare project status reports, executive updates, dashboards, risk/issue logs, and project documentation.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Manage vendor deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and escalations.
  • Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project-management methodologies as appropriate.
  • Utilize tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps for project tracking and reporting.
  • Coach technical teams and help establish a more structured project-management approach.
  • Support organizational change-management activities associated with technology implementations.
  • Coordinate testing, implementation, deployment, transition, and post-implementation activities.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.

 

Top Requirements:

  1. Strong IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT operations, network, systems, or help-desk project experience.
  2. 8+ years of senior-level project/program management experience managing full project lifecycles and multiple concurrent initiatives.
  3. Experience developing project-management practices and coaching technical teams.
  4. Excellent communication skills with IT leadership, technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors.
  5. Strong Agile and Waterfall experience, with Jira or Azure DevOps experience preferred.
  6. Experience with organizational change management is highly desirable.
  7. PMP or CSM certification is preferred.
