Working closely with the end Customer, vendors, and project personnel, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the proper implementation and delivery of an Advanced Distribution Management System, within our client's territory.
You will have responsibility for all aspects of the project over the entire project lifecycle including responsibility for assembling and managing the delivery teams, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, setting up and managing the Vendors and Subcontractors engagements, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of the project. In addition, you must exercise/demonstrate judgement, leadership, organization, and communication skills.
The Sr. Project Manager will be an essential part of our team to grow the consulting practice in the Operational Technology and Real-Time Systems domain.
The Sr. Project Manager should have experience deploying GE ADMS systems.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver project(s) to completion. You will own the scope, cost, schedule, and risks for the project and manage multiple tracks, business and technical resources, consultants and vendors contracted to deliver solutions.
  • Development of contractual Statement of Works with Client and Suppliers articulating precise assumptions and limit of responsibilities
  • Ability to strategize and implement methodology to increase project margins
  • The entire project team will report to you, and you will be ultimately responsible for assigning work, monitoring, and measuring the team's outputs, escalating resource gaps or shortfall of individuals
  • You will be TRC's representative, ensuring that the Client and TRC's interests are well aligned for the success of the project.
  • Manage the Vendors, ensuring that the Contractual, operational and relationship aspects are well aligned for the success of the project.
  • Acting as a champion to foster a positive project work environment; and successfully lead the team to accomplish all the project objectives on time and on budget
  • Develop the workflow plans to manage the project from initial request through systems analysis, technical design, implementation, procurement, testing, turnover to production and client migration.
  • Plan, prepare, and track project schedules and budgets to assure controlled completion of each project step.
  • Prepare and maintain a risk assessment and mitigation action plan
  • Maintain resource forecasts to assure that schedule compliance and desired results are achieved.
  • Update the company and external stakeholders on project progress, changes from original plans, and existing or emerging risks.
  • Lead the project core team meetings Present project progress at Steering Committee level with participation of senior executives from TRC or from the Client.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience in the utility domain.
  • Previous experience leading and managing large-scale, multifaceted enterprise-wide Operational Technologies Projects in an electric or gas utility environment.
  • The successful candidate will be fully knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of the project management Body of Knowledge.
  • Excellent organizational, decision making and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills ranging from addressing C-Level to multiple technical teams.
  • Ability to self-direct and work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent team building and motivational skills.
  • Excellent budgeting and financial skills.
  • Proficiency with MS-Project and with MS Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Must have strong judgement, leadership, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% or on an as needed basis to the client location.
  • Previous experience implementing large ADMS programs, preferably on the technology vendor side.
  • PMP Certification.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
