Administer projects on a day-to-day basis, and verify that they produce the required deliverables of quality within the specified constraints of time and cost, and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.

Job Description

Ensures resource availability and allocation. Coordinate internal resources, third parties and vendors for the flawless execution of projects, while ensuring the delivery of all projects on time, within scope and within budget. Develops project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in the project scope, schedule and costs. Manage relationships with all stakeholders, establish and maintain relationships with third parties and vendors. Report and escalate an issues to management as needed. Develop a detailed project plan to track progress, and measure project performance using the appropriate systems, tools and techniques. Identify and assess risks and facilitate resolution to minimize project risks, and create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required. Based on department needs and supporting areas, bachelor's degree may need to be in one of the following: health services, life sciences, biomedical sciences, nursing, or clinical field. Master's degree in public health, health care, business, or science related fields may be preferred.
Advanced working knowledge with project management software and Microsoft Office required. At least three years of experience managing full life cycle projects desired.
Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM), Project Management Certification (PMP) or equivalent advanced training in project management preferred.Additionally, based on department needs and supporting areas, certification through Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) may be required. Licensing with the applicable State Nursing Board and/or possess multistate licensure privileges as required by position when needed. Depending on area, may require valid driver's license.
