Job description

Summary:
The Information Technology (IT) Project Manager is responsible for the formal management of software development, mobile, web, and technical upgrade projects, as required to meet the growing needs of NTTA's Information Technology Department. This is accomplished by leading cross-functional teams, working closely with vendor project managers, customers, and management, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of IT Projects, while ensuring quality is maintained, requirements are met, and scope is maintained. Under the direction of the IT Program Manager, the IT Project Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of assigned projects, including but not limited to, creating detailed work plans, tracking projects against established schedules and budgets, progress reporting, risk and issue management, and resource planning. The IT Project Manager may also be responsible for overseeing projects delivered by vendors, and to track and review their deliverables. The IT Project Manager will ensure projects under their direction adhere to the change management and security policies of the IT Department, and to Payment Card Industry/Data Security Standard (PCI/DSS) standards.
Starting Rate: $97,836/annually - $128,731/annually - $167,351/annually
Retention Bonus: $1500

Responsibilities:
  • Manages the execution of projects for the IT Department, utilizing staff and consultant resources from various groups within the NTTA.
  • Oversees vendor project managers and reviews vendor deliverables.
  • Coordinates with other Department Managers when resources are needed to achieve common objectives.
  • Coordinates recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
  • Assigns duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel.
  • Adheres to established process and procedure for project execution established by the PMO and the IT Department.
  • Develops resource plans, project plans and other project documents.
  • Documents meetings and other critical conversations and decision points for the project.
  • Ensures project adherence to the NTTA Change Control Policy, and related procedures.
  • Ensures project adhere to NTTA Information Security Policy, and related security processes and procedures, and stays abreast of emerging security and privacy concerns to incorporate appropriate controls and safeguards into processes and projects.
  • Regularly reports project status, including risks and issues, to Management, stakeholders, and the project team.
  • Serves as a Business Analyst for projects as needed.
  • Participates in procurements on behalf of the IT Department. This may include writing and reviewing scope documents and participating on the selection committee.
  • Understands and facilitates contracts processes and financial billing processes for various IT and Operations teams.
  • Participate in the maintenance and continuous improvement of PMO related standard operating procedures/processes.
